What our Members say
After my first baby, I developed postnatal depression. With the help of my therapist I’ve been able to work through it. Now that I’m pregnant with my second I’ve already joined a prenatal support group - I want to be as prepared as possible this time.”
Stephanie
We had two children back to back and the strain of new parenthood pushed our marriage to its breaking point. Seeing a couples counsellor who specialises in the perinatal period has helped us address our issues and learn how to show up for each other and our child. I only wish we’d done it sooner.”
Connor
After a couple of miscarriages, I found myself incredibly anxious during my last pregnancy. The mothering minds blog, workshops and free email support have been a lifeline.“

FAQ
Yes, membership is completely free. We believe emotional support during matrescence should be accessible for anyone. Once you’ve signed up, our peer groups, email support and resources are completely free to access too.
Our community is for anyone considering or experiencing parenthood. While we centre mothers, we acknowledge the importance of the partner’s or co-parent’s experience and realise that the primary caretaker might be the father, too. Our resources aim to include both parents and encourage healthy and effective communication.
Not at all and in fact – how wonderful if you aren’t. Our community is here for you no matter how you experience the shifts of becoming a mother — whether you’re facing emotional challenges or simply want tools and a community to grow with.
Yes. Once you’re a member, you can instantly book a free 20 minute consultation with our experienced perinatal therapists for 1:1 or couples therapy. Further sessions are bookable for a fee, but you don’t need to commit to any number of sessions and there are no waiting lists.
Once signed up, you’ll be able to browse live workshop schedules and instant-access sessions.
Peer support groups run in cycles and are facilitated by trainee therapists — offering you a safe, supportive space to connect. They are free, but spaces are limited as we try to keep our groups small enough for everyone to get time to share their feelings and experiences if they wish to do so. Book a time that suits you and attend with or without your baby.
